Klemen Mali
IFMGA / ACMG Mountain Guide · Squamish & Whistler, BC
Born and raised in Slovenia at the foot of the Kamnik Alps, Klemen was skiing and climbing as soon as he could walk. He joined the Kamnik Alpine Club in 1989, earned first ascents in the Slovenian Alps, and went on to complete expeditions in Alaska, Canada, Patagonia, the Andes and the Karakoram. He became a certified IFMGA/ACMG Mountain Guide in 2006.
From his base in Squamish and Whistler, Klemen builds safe, adventurous and well-planned private trips tailored to each group. He leads anywhere in Canada and the United States, and organizes alpine skiing and climbing trips worldwide, with a focus on Europe, Patagonia and the Himalayas.
